Fresh Fishing Mozambique

 

                  

Zavora:

One of the freshest fishing and diving spots in Mozambique is situated in the province of Inhambane, amidst the dunes of Zavora. This place beats any day at the office! If the spectacular beaches are not enchanting enough, the fishing will reel you in. Barracuda, Wahoo, Queen Mackerel, King Mackerel, Various species King fish, Yellow fin Tuna, Bonito, Dorado, Amberjack, Blue/Black and Striped Marlin will make your reel scream and your adrenaline pump- in the most tranquil turquoise seas.

Accommodation options: Camping or Lodging

Catering options: No Catering/Full Catering and Full Catering including drinks.

Travel options: 7days ground Transfer adventure or 6 Day Fly in adventure

Itinerary

Ground Transfer:

Day 1

We have an early start on the drive to Mozambique Border. We overnight in Komatiepoort.

Day 2

Enjoy the scenic drive through the rural, once war-ridden Mozambique, finally arriving at Zavora. The afternoon will be for relaxing on the beach and checking tackle.  Tonight we get excited, rigged and briefed for the next day’s fishing!

Fly in:

Day 2

Your Fresh Adventurer meets you at Inhambane airport for the transfer to Zavora.  The afternoon will be for relaxing on the beach and checking tackle. Tonight we get excited, rigged and briefed for the next day’s fishing!

Day 3-5

It’s a great day for fishing!

Day 6

Guess what?

It’s a great day for fishing!

Day 7

It’s a great day for fishing! But we have to get back to Inhambane for that flight back home. Or, the early wake-up call for the long road home.

A Great day for Fishing looks like this:

5am:  Wake-up call, coffee and breakfast

First Light: Beach launch in protected bay

First Fish: Just after first light

Noon: Lunch on the spectacular open seas

2PM: Beach and weigh in of day’s catch

4PM: Afternoon nap and dreaming of that ‘Big One’

6pm: Dinner drinks and ‘braai’ with stories of that ‘Big One’
